[ Emploi des techniques de jeu des instruments occidentaux par le ‘ud : Etude sur le jeu du Sherif Muheddin Haydar et Jamil Bashir ]

In our manuscript, we will address the different methods and techniques of playing, as well as the diverse forms used in composition, guiding to the presence of 'ud in modern art and in the finest orchestras of the word nowadays. And in the big concerts of solo (recital). Through western musicians’ innovators, who were curious to find the tune of the instrument expression, such as Sherif Muheddin Haydar, Jamil Bashir, etc. For example, these two mentioned composers were influenced by the composition and forms of occidental music, they are mastered playing the occidental instruments, besides the 'ud, we find the piano, cello and violin. In which led to; that these composers are the first piece’s composer of 'ud in different forms with techniques of unusual playing. So through our analysis, we will discover how these two 'ud players as western composers, were able to be used in forms of occidental compositions and also playing techniques of cello, violin, classic guitar to present the 'ud as a comprehensive and unique tool with a capacity of expression well audible, than just a simple companion in singing and in which level they succeeded. So that they will be musicians with the influence to other players of 'ud today in the Arab world.

Dans notre manuscrit, on va aborder les différentes manières et techniques de jeu, ainsi que les diverses formes utilisées à la composition menant à la présence du ‘ud arabe dans des œuvres modernes et dans des grands orchestres du monde de notre époque et dans des concerts en solo (récitals), à travers des musiciens orientaux innovateurs qui étaient curieux à chercher l’étendu d’expression de cet instrument, tels que Sherif Muheddin Haydar, Jamil Bashir, etc. Par exemple, ces deux compositeurs cités ont été influencés par la composition et les formes de la musique occidentale, ils ont même maitrisé le jeu sur des instruments occidentaux, à part le ‘ud, comme le piano, le violoncelle et le violon, ce qui a menés à ce que ces compositeurs soient les premiers à composer des pièces pour ‘ud dans différentes formes avec des techniques de jeu inhabituelles. Donc à travers notre analyse, on va découvrir comment ces deux ‘udistes, comme étant des compositeurs orientaux, ont pu utiliser des formes de composition occidentales et aussi des techniques de jeu du violoncelle, du violon et de la guitare classique pour représenter le ‘ud comme un instrument complet avec une capacité d’expression très étendue qu’un simple accompagnant au chant, et à quel point ils ont réussi, pour qu’ils seraient des musiciens d’influence pour les autres joueurs de ‘ud d’aujourd’hui dans le monde arabe.
