Education is a fundamental lever for the socio-economic progress of nations, shaping their future through the development of skills and abilities of individuals. This article aims to explore the different facets of school education in Morocco, its current state, the reforms undertaken, and its future prospects to ensure sustainable and equitable educational development. It offers an in-depth assessment based on government reports and academic publications. The objective is to contribute to a better understanding of the issues and challenges of the Moroccan education system, while highlighting the opportunities and avenues of action to ensure quality and equitable education for all. The results show significant progress, such as increasing enrolment rates and improving infrastructure, but also highlight persistent challenges, including inequalities in access to educational resources, regional disparities in the quality of education, and the need to adapt to technological developments to ensure modern and inclusive education.

Abstract

L’enseignement est un levier fondamental pour le progrès socio-économique des nations, façonnant leur avenir à travers le développement des compétences et des capacités des individus. Le présent article vise à explorer les différentes facettes de l’enseignement scolaire au Maroc son état des lieux, les réformes entreprises et ses perspectives d’avenir pour assurer un développement éducatif durable et équitable. Il propose une évaluation approfondie basée sur des rapports gouvernementaux et des publications académiques. L’objectif est de contribuer à une meilleure compréhension des enjeux et des défis du système éducatif marocain, tout en soulignant les opportunités et les pistes d’action pour assurer un enseignement de qualité et équitable pour tous. Les résultats montrent des progrès significatifs, tels que l’augmentation des taux de scolarisation et l’amélioration des infrastructures, mais mettent également en lumière des défis persistants, notamment les inégalités d’accès aux ressources éducatives, les disparités régionales dans la qualité de l’enseignement, et la nécessité d’adaptation aux évolutions technologiques pour garantir une éducation moderne et inclusive.
