The aim of this study was to understand the influence of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the city of Conakry. To this end, based on a qualitative approach, by interviewing 10 entrepreneurs, 4 incubators and 1 accelerator, we examined the role of actors in the formation of a dynamic and evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem. The results revealed ineffective institutions, lack of laws in case of contractual disputes, politically oriented leaders, difficult access to financing, lack of entrepreneurial skills, absence of entrepreneurial themes in the school curriculum, insufficient infrastructure, unfavorable market conditions and the development of entrepreneurship in public higher education institutions.

Abstract

Cette étude avait pour objectif de comprendre l’influence de l’écosystème entrepreneurial dans le développement des petites et moyennes entreprises de la Ville de Conakry. A cet effet, sur la base d’une approche qualitative, en interrogeant 10 entrepreneurs, 4 incubateurs et 1 accélérateur, nous avons examiné le rôle des acteurs dans la formation d’un écosystème entrepreneurial dynamique et évolutif. Les résultats obtenus ont révélé le manque d’efficacité des institutions, l’absence des lois en cas de litige contractuel, les leaders orientés vers les questions politiques, difficulté d’accès au financement, manque de compétences entrepreneuriales, l’absence de thématique entrepreneuriale dans le cursus scolaire, les infrastructures insuffisantes, le marché peu favorable et le développement de l’entrepreneuriat dans les institutions d’enseignement supérieur publiques.
