The tie between economic growth and system of education seems sufficiently established to collect a large consensus of the economists. The profits of the education go well beyond their contribution to the human capital in the production of goods. To shortcoming this survey carrying on the" role of the woman's education: Arbitration between work and fertility", it was question to understand the interrelations between the woman's education, the use and the fertility in urban environment, and more especially in the city of Goma. The data have been collected with the help of a questionnaire and the results have been analyzed thanks to the methods statistical, inductive and comparative. To this effect, the software packages Eviews 3.0 and Sphinx Plus allowed us to make econometric analysis of the survey. After the analyses, we noted that the elevated instruction level pushes the woman to look for a salaried job (rather than to remain in the domestic works). With regard to the influence of the woman's education on the wanted births, it is little meaningful. It would be useful for the state to take some measures in terms of policies and strategies in view of to control well and to master the dynamics of the populations. To this consideration, let's signal that the demographic explosion has some ties with the poverty of the countries of the South. With regard to the households, the awakening of conscience concerning education and fertility can contribute to the improvement of their life conditions.

Le lien entre croissance économique et système d’éducation semble suffisamment établi pour recueillir un large consensus des économistes. Les bénéfices de l’éducation vont bien au-delà de leur apport au capital humain dans la production de biens. A travers cette étude portant sur le « rôle de l’éducation de la femme : Arbitrage entre emploi et fécondité», il était question de comprendre les interrelations entre l’éducation de la femme, l’emploi et la fécondité en milieu urbain, et plus particulièrement dans la ville de Goma. Les données ont été recueillies à l’aide d’un questionnaire et les résultats ont été analysés grâce aux méthodes statistique, inductive et comparative. A cet effet, les progiciels Eviews 3.1 et Sphinx Plus nous ont permis de faire des analyses économétriques de l’étude. Après les analyses, nous avons constaté que le niveau d’instruction élevé pousse la femme à chercher un emploi salarié (plutôt qu’à rester dans les travaux ménagers). En ce qui concerne l’influence de l’éducation de la femme sur les naissances désirées, elle est peu significative. Il serait utile pour l’Etat de prendre des mesures en termes de politiques et stratégies en vue de bien contrôler et maitriser la dynamique des populations. A cet égard, signalons que l’explosion démographique a des liens avec la pauvreté des pays du Sud. En ce qui concerne les ménages, l’éveil de conscience en matière d’éducation et de fécondité peut contribuer à l’amélioration de leurs conditions de vie.
