The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Uganda, two countries of the Great Lakes region, share a long border that encourages fluxes of all nature. During last years, this border limit was not revealed that a space of exchange. On the other hand, it nourished the tensions that took the exploding shapes that raised the veil on border disputes between the two countries. In spite of will displayed by the parts to solve these conflicts peacefully, some security incidental is not stopped. This article interrogates stakes of the persistence of these conflicts and the factors that nourish them. It uses itself, besides, to analyze the impact of these conflicts on the cooperation between the two States and propose some tracks of reflection in view of the resolution efficient of these conflicts.

La République Démocratique du Congo (RDC) et l’Ouganda, deux pays d’Afrique des Grands Lacs, partagent une longue frontière qui favorise des flux de toute nature. Au cours de dernières années, cette limite frontalière ne s’est pas révélée qu’un espace d’échange. Par contre, elle a alimenté des tensions qui ont pris des formes explosives qui ont levé le voile sur des différends frontaliers entre les deux pays. Nonobstant la volonté affichée par les parties à résoudre pacifiquement ces conflits, des incidents sécuritaires ne sont pas arrêtés. Cet article interroge enjeux de la persistance de ces conflits et les facteurs qui les alimentent. Il s’emploie, en outre, à analyser l’incidence de ces conflits sur la cohabitation entre les deux États et propose quelques pistes de réflexion en vue de la résolution efficace de ces conflits.
