This scientific publishing consisted to the evaluation of relationship between chemical structures and pharmacological activities of Spilanthes Mauritiana extracts, an antdiarrheic plant founded in Bushi. To arrive there we proceeded by the thin layer chromatography using two standards moderns drugs used in diarrhea treatment. Final results revealed spots of analogical retention factor (Rf) with the standards used, such as ciprofloxacin ®, Negrame®. This leaded us to conclude that there are similarities between some principles ingredients contained in Spilanthes Mauritiana and the witness moderns drugs used in diarrhea treatment.
