Public transit in the city of Bukavu requires that every player involved will be performing. This study from research data from January to December 2015 is intended to analyze the performance and demonstrate the importance of roads and transport as key factors for the development of the medium. Indeed our study of 200 players divided into the three towns of Bukavu reveals that transport is poorly organized there (56.6% of the population) and this has consequences for the socio-economic life of the population while the number of vehicles that are growing at a cruising speed. The population making use conveyance believes that to improve transport conditions in the city of Bukavu, it should create new routes (21% of the population), expand the city to the suburbs (17.5%), create parking (18.5%), regulate traffic (20.5%), take regular vehicle inspection (7%), fight against police harassment (6%) and regularly recycle drivers (9.5% Population). These findings reveal the importance of the involvement of the authorities both political and administrative in order to make easier the mobility of the population.

Le transport en commun dans la ville de Bukavu nécessite que tout acteur y impliqué soit performant. Cette étude qui part des données de recherche allant de janvier à décembre 2015 se veut d’analyser cette performance et montrer l’importance des routes et du transport en tant que facteurs essentiels pour le développement du milieu. En effet notre étude portant sur 200 acteurs répartis dans les trois communes de la ville de Bukavu révèle que le transport y est mal organisé (56,6% de la population) et cela a des conséquences sur la vie socio-économique de la population alors que le nombre des véhicules qui y circulent croît à une vitesse de croisière. La population usant le moyen de transport estime que pour améliorer les conditions de transport dans la ville de Bukavu, il convient de créer de nouvelles routes (21% de la population), étendre la ville vers les périphéries (17,5%), créer des parkings (18,5%), règlementer la circulation (20,5%), faire régulièrement le contrôle technique des véhicules (7%), lutter contre les tracasseries policières (6%) et recycler régulièrement les chauffeurs (9,5% de la population). Ces constats révèlent la pertinence de l’implication des autorités tant politiques qu’administratives en vue de rendre aisée la mobilité de la population.
