The attenuation of the natural disasters supposes the reduction of the vulnerability concerning human lives, goods and activities. The objective is to inform the public on the nature, the consequences of the disasters on the man, the natural habitat and agricultural of the basin of the Lake Kivu of 2011 - 2013. It is beforehand about identifying the factors of vulnerability, of measures the range of it and to localize in the space the most sensitive sectors. The level of appreciation of the factors will make itself by free observation by one visit of the Neuman sites, (2011). Through a transverse walk (transect walk) for the identification of the different environmental problems, Dery and al., (1999). This method is going to permit to know the major environmental problems in the zones of intervention.

L'atténuation de catastrophes naturelles suppose la réduction de la vulnérabilité en matière de vies humaines, de biens et d'activités. L'objectif est d'informer le grand public sur la nature, les conséquences des catastrophes sur l'homme, le milieu naturel et agricole du bassin du Lac Kivu de 2011- 2013. Il s'agit au préalable d'identifier les facteurs de vulnérabilité, d'en mesure la portée et de localiser dans l'espace les secteurs les plus sensibles. Le niveau d'appréciation des facteurs se fera par observation libre par une visite des sites Neuman, (2011). à travers une marche transversale (transect walk) pour l'identification des différents problèmes environnementaux, Dery et al.,(1999). Cette méthode va permettre de connaître les catastrophes majeures dans la côte occidentale du Lac Kivu, RD Congo.
