This study aims to collect the parents’ opinions on the medical care of children hospitalized in the pediatric department of HGR/Bunia. We used the semi-structured interview technique to collect parents’ opinions. The occasional non-probability sampling technique allowed us to select and interview 84 parents. At the end of the analysis of the results, the majority of the parents declared that the good reception and the administration of the drugs is done in time by the medical staff who care about the patients, although some say that the reception is bad and medications are administered late due to lack of awareness. Everyone appreciates the fact that each patient has a bed. With regard to the hygiene of the premises and the environment, a good number affirm that they are clean while a few find them to be dirty. As for the costs of hospitalization of children, almost all parents find them high.

Cette étude a pour objectif de récolter les opinions des parents sur la prise en charge des enfants hospitalisés au service de la pédiatrie de l’HGR/Bunia. Nous avons recouru à la technique d’interview semi-structurée pour recueillir les opinions des parents. La technique d’échantillonnage non probabiliste du type occasionnel nous a permis de sélectionner et d’interroger 84 parents. Au terme de l’analyse des résultats, la majorité des parents a déclaré que l’accueil bon et l’administration des médicaments se fait en temps par les corps soignants qui se soucient des malades bien que certains disent que l’accueil est mauvais et l’administration des médicaments se font en retard par manque de conscience. Tous apprécient le fait que chaque malade dispose d’un lit En ce qui concerne l’hygiène des locaux et l’environnement, un bon nombre affirment qu’ils sont propres alors que quelques-uns les trouvent qu’ils sont sales. Quant aux coûts d’hospitalisation des enfants, la quasi-totalité des parents les trouve élevés.
