The leadership conflict is today one of the wrong that tarnish the image of churches in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This study consists of demonstrating the role of public authorities in finding solutions to the leadership conflict in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Congo.To this end, those who hold political power must be involved in helping the conflicting parties to come to an agreement. To effectively resolve this conflict, full members should review the method of appointing Church leaders by opting for the rule of the rotating presidency in order to avoid tribalism, regionalism, corruption in all its forms in the choice. of the Legal Representative and of the Presiding Bishop and allow all Bishops to accede to the aforementioned positions.

Abstract

Le conflit de leadership fait partie aujourd’hui des maux qui ternissent l’image des églises en République Démocratique du Congo. Cette étude consiste à démontrer le rôle des autorités publiques dans la recherche des solutions au conflit de leadership dans l’Eglise Evangélique Luthérienne au Congo.A cet effet, les détenteurs du pouvoir politique doivent s’impliquer en vue d’aider les parties en conflit de se mettre d’accord. Pour résoudre efficacement ce conflit, les membres effectifs devraient revoir le mode de désignation des dirigeants de l’Eglise en optant pour la règle de la présidence tournante en vue d’éviter le tribalisme, le régionalisme, la corruption sous toutes ses formes dans le choix du Représentant légal et de l’Évêque Président et permettre à tous les Évêques d’accéder aux postes susmentionnés.
