This work aims to do the study of the genetic variability of the local tomato. The results showed that genetic diversity of local tomatoes is summed up into 6 botanical forms (round Red, round Violet, flat Red, flat Violet, elongated Red, and elongated Violet) among which round Red phenotype was the most represented (56.5%).
Author Keywords: variability, phenotypic, tomato, fruits, local variety (solanum lycopersicum L.).
