[ L’impact de l’imaginaire du paysage littoral dans le façonnement des lieux de villégiature balnéaire: Le cas du littoral du Sahel de Bizerte ]

Imaginations are essentially made up of shared representations and fed in some way by material images or immaterial that are worked by the imagination. these two bases play an eminently important role in structuring the imagination of the coastal landscape in a contemporary societal context where the primacy of the image prevails. undoubtedly, the discovery of emblematic places was once limited to artists, travelers or writers who reveal the landscape assets of different places of the world. currently, other propagandist occupants have taken over: journalists, columnists as well as social networks that play a key role in promoting of the places. over time, the perception of the coastal landscape is charged with a certain number of affective, material and imaginary values that allows and deviates from reading it. to question this relation to a specific landscape of the sea, an exploratory and qualitative research was conducted on the coastal fringe of the sahel of bizerte through a corpus of images, broadcast speeches and land sales ads published on the internet, crossed with a series of surveys conducted among 15 secondary residents. the first results show that the sea landscape influences the market value of land and real estate and helped to redraw a new configuration of the coast of the sahel of bizerte. our study area is an imaginary place, which, besides its own geographical existence, is a focus of desire and expectations of an idyllic shoreline image.

Les imaginaires sont constitués essentiellement de représentations partagées et nourries en quelque sorte par des images matérielles ou immatérielles travaillées par l’imagination. Ces deux socles, jouent un rôle éminemment important dans la structuration de l’imaginaire du paysage littoral dans un contexte sociétal contemporain où le primat de l’image prévaut. Sans doute, la découverte des lieux emblématiques était limitée autrefois aux artistes, voyageurs ou encore écrivains. Actuellement, d’autres occupants propagandistes ont pris la relève : journalistes, chroniqueurs ainsi que les réseaux sociaux. Au fil du temps, la perception du paysage côtier se charge d’un certain nombre de valeurs affectives, matérielles et imaginaires qui ont dévié sa lecture. Pour questionner ce nouveau rapport au paysage de la mer, une recherche exploratoire et qualitative a été menée sur la frange côtière du Sahel de Bizerte à travers un corpus d’images, des discours diffusés et des annonces de vente de terrain publiées sur Internet, croisée avec une série d’enquêtes menées auprès de 15 résidents secondaires. Les premiers résultats montrent que le paysage de la mer influe la valeur vénale des biens fonciers et immobiliers et contribue à redessiner une nouvelle configuration de la côte du Sahel de Bizerte. Notre zone d’étude est devenue un lieu imaginaire, un lieu qui, à côté de son existence géographique propre, est un foyer de désir et d’attentes d’une image d’un rivage idyllique.
